Fork has four letters as does left

Test time. Which of these two pictures is correct? …

1) fork on right; 2) fork on left

The answer, of course, is neither. Picture 2 is close as the forks are on the left; knife on the right. However, the spoon should be either on the right of the knife, or, noting it was for dessert, sitting above the plate and charger. For the record, I had the table set as in picture 1 (totally wrong) but I blame the Tedeschi!

We opted for a romantic evening in last Saturday, complete with a chic-chic dinner with all the trimmings (i.e., the ‘good-good china’; the Riedel; the new cutlery). Rosemary/garlic lamb chops were on the menu served with a to-die for 2000 Amarone Tedeschi.

3) rosemary lamb with snap peas and roasted Yukon gold potatoes; 4) the Amarone

It is ALWAYS the fault of the wine, not the fact that you were drinking it. I almost answered incorrectly until I saw the spoon on the wrong side of the knife. Food looks great!

My mouth is watering. And I did get the answer correct.

  3. Lol if you forget next time, just remember that your fork is on your left and knife on your right because that’s how you eat a steak if you’re right-handed.
