Chinese New Year

Sufficiently recovered from the housewarming, we ventured downtown – in minus freaking 20-something celsius temperatures – to Blee’s for a Chinese New Year luncheon with two traditional Chinese New Year’s delights … do you  what these are?…

Afterwards we headed to the Soho Metropolitan for cocktails before a lovely dinner at Xam Yue on Spadina complete with whole steamed large mouth bass; chicken in lotus leaf; huge scallops on the shell and shrimp-stuffed tofu (sans pictures as we were too hungry and simply dug in).
