… and then Chico arrived ..
Chico is a 6-year-old Maltese whom G and I are dog-sitting this next week while his parents, Mimi and Jim, are off in Vancouver. He is a gorgeous ball of fluff.
Chico arrived on Sunday night and seemed to settle in well but as we went to bed, the poor lad had a difficult time acclimatizing to his new surroundings (I’m guessing new bed syndrome) and – sadly for us all – was awake all night … pacing, barking, whimpering.
He had a much better time of it Monday night and we think he’s got the hang of the new schedule. The sleepless night aside, he’s a real joy and Mimi and Jim have done a fine job of training him.
… and the sheer fun of having another little fellow in the condo to play with aside, this Maltese came complete with four bottles of bubbly! Thanks Chico!
