1) I made halibut and soba noodle soup to start the week
And so the holiday adventures have begun en masse, which is just fine by me as it means prezzies and outings and fun. This past week we headed to Dessert Trends for G’s staff holiday dinner. The meal was excellent as always and we received some excellent goodies upon our departure, that included these so cute chocolate Christmas tree and present.

On Saturday we saw David Hare’s magnificent play on the embarrassing saga that is the George W. Bush years – Stuff Happens – at the Royal Alex. It was a simply wonderful play and if it lands in your woods, get a ticket and get out to see it. Cocktails and dinner followed at Blee’s and then G and I stumbled our way to to the Westin Harbour Castle to crash for the night.

Yes, it has begun. My sister and brother-in-law are off to London for his birthday. This is his first trip out of USA! That is their beginning. I have two parties this week.
