After adventures out in the country surrounding Shanghai, G returned to the big city itself.

1) a quiet side-street (aren’t the lantrens pretty?); the Oriental Pearl TV Tower; 3) the Shanghai “French Quarter” (Xin Tian Di)

7) the ‘famous’ Nanxiang Mantou Dian, where they make 8) crab dumpling soup on a BIG size, and where you can have tea at; 9) Yu Yuan Garden’s Tea House
Beautiful photos!!
RYC: I try to keep words like “should” “could” “would” out of my vocabulary

WOW, look at those lights! I wish I was there.
Oh nice pics! I really like the blend of old and new and pray that they haven’t demolished all the old buildings. The crab dumpling soup looks intriguing!
