The 1907 Centennial Tea

On Sunday, we joined Blee and Scots on the Rocks Annie for afternoon tea at Epic, the wonderful restaurant in the Royal York Hotel. Afternoon tea is one of my most favourite things to do as it is so utterly civilized. To top off the afternoon, we even got to visit the hotel’s rooftop herb garden which was way cool!

1) me smooching with Annie; 2) the crumpets with honey; 3) the cranberry scones

4) the desserts; 5) the view of Union Station from the rooftop; 6) our tour guide

7 & 8) the herb borage, which I’d never heard of (good for game meets)

9) the rooftop herb garden … worth the walk up!
