Summerlicious is in full swing now and as is our yearly custom, we headed off to Edo to enjoy some kobe beef. On the menu this year was:
- Amuse Bouche
Wanko Soba: Summer introduction with cold Soba noodles
Kamo Kinoko Salada Yuzu: Warm duck-leg confit with shiitake mushrooms and green salad yuzu (Japanese lime) dressing;
Special Summerlicious Sushi Course; and,
Wagyu Menchi Katsu Kaaree: gourmet panko-breaded Kobe Beef cutlet, potato gratin and Chef Ryo’s Japanese curry sauce
1) the wanko salad with the warm duck confit hidden beneath
2) the sushi course
3) the (sigh) kobe beef
that is mighty amusing to the bouche! my friend, you really do eat well don’t you??
