Piatti
On Friday night we tried the very new buffet/table service restaurant on Eglinton, Piatti. This restaurant has been under construction for, heavens, probably two years and finally opened about 3 weeks ago. It combines a buffet approach (where you can get antipastos and made-to-order pasta dishes) with table side service of pasta, pizza, and risotto. I liked the concept and G and I certainly left the place unable to move we were so freaking full of food. All you can eat for dinner is $25. Worth a try.
Unicorn Pub
Tuesday was our monthly Unicorn Pub meeting with the uber-sexy Lady Sarah (who did make up for bailing on us last week!). As always our chats roamed from ‘secret boyfriends’ down to a comparison of all the trashy tv we watch. Love it!
Lemon Crinkle
… and speaking of love, doesn’t the new Tim Horton’s lemon crinkle donut sort of remind you of an anus?! … ewwww! We ordered up some of these on Wednesday when we hung out with popstar willariah at his place to watch the last episode of Canada’s Next Top Model.
