We left Stratford and headed to the Blue Mountains in Central Ontario and three days of utter chilling at Westin’s Trillium House. This place was uberdeluxe and we had a wonderful time roaming the Village at Blue and just relaxing in our suite.
The first night we arrived, we opted to stay in and cook for ourselves, complete with a ‘club level-style’ predinner appetizers.
For dinner, we opted
for pasta alla The Olde Spaghetti Factory (in Toronto) with a duo sauce
of simple tomatoes and the dry, salty goodness of mizthra cheese. If
you’ve never tried this … do head out and find some of this unique
cheese and give it a go. We served this along with a simple salad and a to-die-for bottle of Donato D’Angelo Aglianico 2000, which was superb. Dessert was a Rocky Mountain Chocolate covered green apple (decadent!).

12) me in one mother of an Algonquin chair; 13) oh, so good … candied apples
haha…you sure know how to live it up! BTW, nice pics, looked like you visited some cozy village in Europe?
The suite looks beautiful as does the hotel and village. Food is yummy as usual. You are getting spoiled!
