Greetings from Halifax, where I find myself once again for (yet) another week’s visit. Gosh, I really ought consider a time share here. Tuesday, I awoke at 6AM, headed to Pearson International and flew down here. Worked all day and attended (read: coordinated) a fun, funky fundraiser at night – Haligonians sure know how to party. This party would have lasted lasted into the wee hours of Wednesday morning had the power not gone out throughout much of Halifax! I managed to climb into bed at the hotel around 12 midnight … only to wake up at 6AM (again) to drive all the way up to Antigonish, where I spent a couple days and saw the movie, The Kingdom, in the wee theatre there.
If you make it to Halifax, do make time to take the ferry across the harbour from Halifax to Dartmouth. You get some great views of the city and it’s bridges, though downtown Dartmouth leaves much to be desired.
wow, so much traveling! i barely even make it out of the city limits hahahaha.
You do visit some very beautiful cities! Enjoy!
Interesting business trip…..I suppose?
hmm… so you must be retired right =[if you are… then you’re so luckyand if you aren’t… then you’re lucky that you have enough time to enjoy life while still maintaining a job =]
