1) fans await Coldplay’s arrival at the Air Canada Centre

6) confetti at concert’s end; 7) the giant Christmas balls
G and I, and several thousand others, attended British it-band, Coldplay‘s, “Viva la Vida Tour” show Wednesday night at the Air Canada Centre. As a Coldplay virgin, I kept thinking Ricky Martin was going to show up to sing?! … Doh!
Anyway, the show was excellent and I especially loved the huge Christmas ball-like video screens the band employed. Their version of “Yellow” was great and heck, I even heard that song before! Actually, I like their songs “Clocks” and “Speed of Sound” too. And gosh, it must be great to only have to work an hour and a half each day.
I must update my “Best Rock Concerts Ever” post soon! See here.

8) my video of “Clocks” … I had an adventure posting this via xanga videos so I resorted to YouTube instead. This was their 2nd song played behind a huge version of Eugene Delacroix’s “Liberty Leading the Charge” masterpiece. Enjoy!
ryc: haha i only made it in there because without the happy endingit wouldn’t be in fairy tale format=]besides…toys are only fun the first time aroundafter that it gets routine
…*grrrr*man sounds like you had fun=] im glad
I wish I could have gone, by the time I got to Ticketmaster, everything was gone. I just haven’t had any luck in getting any concert tickets lately.
XM radio chnnl 51 is doing “30 days of Coldplay”, in shameless imitation of commercial radio. It gets pretty repetitious, but at the right moment, it’s awesome. Last night I worked really late and was driving home at 2AM. Just the right time to hear “Fix You”. Maybe some day I’ll see em. How much were the tkts?
awesome! i wish i had gone…
That looks great. I would enjoy seeing Coldplay sometime.
wow, looks like a great concert! i wouldn’t mind seeing coldplay at some point myself.
