“with a kiss, I’ll pass the key“

Sitting high atop my most revered musical influences, the divine Kate Bush gave her first live performance in 35 years on Tuesday at London’s Eventim Apollo Theatre: the irony not lost as it was this same theatre – then named the Odeon Hammersmith – where she gave her last show back in May 1979; probably shortly after I first discovered her with thanks to Margo. Gosh, remember Wuthering Heights?!

She remains, in a word, awesome.  A noble maven blessed with talent as a songwriter, poet, philosopher, trend-setter, artiste, and vocalist.
