There was squealing this morning from the bathroom, followed by G saying “Oh, no. Oh, no”. Of course I rushed to investigate and found this sad and sorry scene. Our beloved scrunchie, the biggest and softest of the scrunchies we own, unraveled itself and sadly succumbed to scrunchie suicide.

We’re devastated, naturally. Visiting hours will be tonight between 5 and 6 prior to us heading out to see “BodyWorks 2” at the Science Centre. Internment will follow tomorrow morning at The Body Shop on Bloor.
G Vs. The National Post
Shinan Govani, he of National Post fame, wrote an article in yesterday’s paper (pg AL3) “Models forever, through thin and thinner” which showed a purported picture of model Daria Werbowy. My keen-eyed fashion guru G instantly noticed the picture was not Daria but Erin Wesson, and penned an email to Shinan to inform him (again … this is the second time keen-eyed G has corrected the National Post) of the error.

Gay Penguins … Cont’d
Yesterday I posted about the gay penguins. Today I note the Justice Minister is being urged to raise the age of consent for sexual activity from 14 to 16 years of age. I also note that currently gay men are not allowed to have sexual intercourse with other men until they are 18. I would argue this stigmatizes gay and bisexual men.
All this to say, I wonder what the age of consent for gay penguins is?!
