Ever since G introduced the expresso maker he used while living in Italy into our home about a month and a half ago, I’ve been an expresso fanatic. Yesterday morning was no exception … mmmm coffee in the lovely expresso cups G got me for Christmas.
Yesterday afternoon I wandered over to willariah‘s for (yet more) coffee and a visit with Billy, who I’ve not seen in ages. Will was – as ever – a uber-fabulous host and made an omg-yummie black sesame ice cream sampler for me (which was to-die-for I have to admit … even though he won’t share the recipe with me … meanie!). Billy was sweet and spent much of the time in my lap.

And finally, today, in the strange but true category, I give you G’s xmas fish. These strange little creatures started out as you see them on the left. But, place them in water overnight and they swell, what, 4 or 5 times their size until
they appear as you see them on the right.
