Mom

My parents were in town from London for a spell Sat-Wed to house-sit for G and I whilst we were away. The timing was perfect as it was also my mom’s XX birthday. I removed the number purposely as it’s unkind to mention a woman’s actual age, though I must say for a woman going closer to 70 than 60, she looks AMAZING!.

On her birthday agenda was an afternoon high tea at the Windsor Arms Hotel … very British; very posh posh and very yummy … broken Evian bottles aside. The Windsor Arms is still lovely after all these years and still a great destination for food. The actual hotel stay is nice too (see here).

From the Windsor Arms we ventured over to the Park Hyatt and its famed Roof Top Lounge for drinks and a view and then headed back midtown for a dinner extravaganza at Piatti.

Her final birthday prezzie was a morning at Stillwater Spa at the Park Hyatt on Monday. Happy Birthday Mom! Love you tons!
