Bo Jolly New Voh

1 & 2) This indoor gardener is happy. That pretty much sums up these two pictures

On Thursday the beaujolais nouveau wines for 2009 hit the LCBO stores. While a rank marketing ploy (that’s worked) and while pretty dull wine, it still affords an excuse for a Saturday night “Bo-Jolly-New-Voh” tasting and charcuterie cocktail party.

3) the charcuterie; 4) a bottle of the Mommessin, circa a week ago

… But too much mediocre wine requires Sunday afternoon cleansing. Today in the form of a spur-of-the-moment Afternoon Tea luncheon.

5) set for tea

6) I love this set of Villeroy & Boch … it’s so zen

Beautiful orchid! We had some of the new beaujolais with dinner in Taipei Friday night.  Thank goodness good company can make up for mediocre wine.
