I’ve Extruded

1) homemade fusilli pasta with homemade roasted tomato sauce

For Christmas my parents gave G and I a pasta extruder attachment for our KitchenAid. Tonight we finally slowed down enough to test run the machine. I made the pasta from scratch and G handled his oh-so-amazing homemade roasted tomato sauce.

10) served with our latest find … a delicious South African sparkling rose, made all the more better by spending some time on the lees, similar to a ripasso but in this case, champagne! Highly recommended … at Vintages LCBO while supplies last … buy a case

A perfect machine; a perfect meal. What can we say but thanks mom and dad!

Nothing beats homemade pasta. It is the best – if you have the time to make it.
